Why it is Important to make the switch to VOIP Phones

VOIP or (Voice over IP) was launched several years ago, when first launched and introduced into the market it was a new and unproven technology and users were skeptical on whether or not to switch to it. Today that has all changed, VOIP is now a proven and stable technology with loads of new and innovative features and consumers are hard pressed to find a reason not to switch to it.

VOIP is feature rich compared to traditional landlines. It is more than just calling and voice mail, VOIP is truly a unified communications system. With most VOIP systems you can have your number ring anywhere, easily forward calls in a few clicks, have voice mails sent to email as audio files or even transcribed to text. Traveling with VOIP is no longer an issue, you can take your phone and number with you were ever you go, keep simple local calls, no long distance.

Pricing is another huge reason for the switch to VOIP, aside from the base phone or line charge, traditional phone carries charge on a per feature basis, call forwarding, caller ID, voice mail, these are all separate charges. With VOIP there is one cost only, all features included, and the one cost is typically a fraction of what you will pay for a traditional phone line.

Looking at the big picture, the choice is simple, why would you not go with a superior service that offers more features, clarity, and flexibility all at a fraction of the cost.
