OfficeServ 7400 Honored for Delivering Exceptional VoIP/IP Telephony Solutions

Samsung BCS announced today that INTERNET TELEPHONY  magazine (http://www.itmag.com/ ) has named the OfficeServ 7400 as a recipient of a 2006 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award. INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has been a VoIP Authority since 1998(TM).

"With the introduction of the OfficeServ 7200 last year, we were able to bring the efficiency of true convergence to small- to medium-sized businesses. The OfficeServ 7400 continues that mission and provides a platform that is capable of growing alongside a successful SME," said Steve Gobeli, vice president of Samsung Telecommunications America, Business Communication Systems (BCS) Division. "INTERNET TELEPHONY's recognition of the OfficeServ 7400 is extremely important to us, and this honor serves to cement our reputation as an industry leader and innovator."

The OfficeServ 7400, a converged communications platform for the small- to medium-enterprise market (SME), offers higher port capacity, a gigabit Ethernet backbone and 64-channel MGI cards that enable larger VoIP applications and support for up to 500 users. The new platform also maintains the true convergence of wireless, wireline, analog voice, VoIP and data capabilities on a single platform, a concept first introduced in October 2005 with the OfficeServ 7200 platform
